This agreement relates to your claim(s) for reimbursement of Mis-Sold PPI (Payment Protection Insurance).
When the agreement starts
Payment and Cost to You
Instruct us clearly allowing us to conduct our work on your behalf properly.
You must not give us deliberately misleading information or ask us to work in an improper way.
You must provide us with all loan documents and statements, if available, prior to commencing the
You must co-operate with us fully and pay the cost mentioned under ‘Payment and Cost to You’ in this agreement.
Forward to us any mail, received from your bank, relating to the claim(s) we are making on your behalf.
If the creditor pays you direct, you agree to pay our fee within 7 days of settlement. We will invoice you for this amount.
We must always act in your best interest in pursuing your claim(s) and obtaining for you the best possible result.
Sunshine Claims Ltd. makes no representation or warranty to you that compensation will be obtained or is in any way guaranteed.
Protect your personal information and not disclose any personal details to any other third party, other than those you have authorised us, without your prior permission. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office. Data Protection No ZA056665.
Conduct work on your behalf within a reasonable timescale.
Fully explain the risks and benefits whilst giving you our best advice.
Assess your claim(s) and inform you if we do not consider it to be viable to pursue. Each claim is assessed individually and we rely on the information and documents provided by you to us as being true, accurate and complete.
Write to your creditor(s) and inform them of your concerns regarding the selling of Payment Protection Insurance.
Respond within a reasonable timescale to any enquiries or questions raised to us by your creditor(s).
Send to you copies of all correspondence received by us from your creditor(s) within a reasonable timescale.
Notify you within a reasonable timescale if any claim is not to be pursued. We will act reasonably in taking any such decision.
Notify you within a reasonable timescale of the outcome of your claim(s).
Negotiate and finalise the terms of any financial redress offered. We aim to claim the full amount premium you have paid, plus any interest charged on this amount, plus an additional 8% interest on these two amounts, though this cannot be guaranteed.
Ask your creditor(s) to investigate all associated accounts with the view to obtaining further financial redress where mis-selling is discovered.
We may escalate your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service if the creditor defends the case against them.
Our instruction will end on each individual case once we have received a final response from the creditor or the Financial Ombudsman Service, subject to all fees being paid in full.
We may cancel this agreement at any time if we feel the claim(s) is likely to be unsuccessful, if the client is declared bankrupt or if the client fails to follow any of our recommendations whilst pursuing the claim(s). The client can cancel this agreement within 14 days of signing without cost or penalty by notifying us verbally or in writing. The client can cancel at any time after 14 days without cost or penalty, by notifying us verbally or in writing.

Declaration and Disclosure
This is our standard client agreement and Terms and Conditions upon which we intend to rely. For your own benefit and protection you should read these terms carefully before signing them. If you do not understand any point please ask for further information. I/We agree to these terms and conditions. By signing I/We wish to confirm that Sunshine Claims Ltd. is instructed to act on my/our behalf in this matter and that I/We accept responsibility for all answers and statements given to Sunshine Claims Ltd. in regard to this claim(s). I/We also confirm that all documents in my/our possession relating to the claim(s) have been forwarded to Sunshine Claims Ltd. I/We agree to Sunshine Claims Ltd. making multiple claims on all associated accounts to those submitted subject to this Agreement and Terms and Conditions. By signing the ‘Letter of Authority’, you confirm acceptance of this Agreement and Terms and Conditions and wish Sunshine Claims Ltd. to act on your behalf. I/We acknowledge that I/We could pursue this claim against the company myself/ourselves without the involvement of Sunshine Claims Ltd. but I/We have instead opted to engage Sunshine Claims Ltd. whose fees will be recoverable from me/us.
This agreement is a legally binding contract and subject to English Law. All parties consent to the jurisdiction of the English Courts in all matters affecting this contract.
